About Me

I'm Steven, husband to a crazy woman who I love for some reason (just kidding! <33) and father to a little girl who makes me smile and frustrated at the same time, literally. (WHY DOESN'T SHE EVER SLEEP?!). But it's the emotional roller coaster, the experience of it all, that turns you into a better person, right?

I'm somewhat of a beer snob...I'll drink cheap stuff, but when I get to go to Dawson's and get some nice craft brews, that's what I enjoy most. Kinda like a wino, but a...beero? >_> sounds like a horrible name for a cereal...

I also have a passion for space, like to play video games (though with an almost 4 year old and one on the way that happens less and less) and am obsessed with computers; fixing them, working on them, networking them, I enjoy it all.

And of course, bacon and babies :) The babies part is harder work than the bacon (unless you're cooking a whole pound on a single pan, BUT OMG IS IT WORTH IT) but the reward is much higher. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is better than watching your little girl grow up to be her own person, but still be influenced by you enough to turn out to me a mini-me. (Its so cool watching your little one turn into a geekling xD)

We have more pets than our tiny house should hold. Two dogs (one is half Tasmanian devil, the cartoon kind), a chinchilla, and a hamster. In a one bedroom apartment with a crazy kid and one on the way, the place is getting smaller and smaller by the year!

I have a job working for a trucking company as a parts salesman, which isn't bad, but I'd like to eventually end up in computer networking. I took Cisco networking in high school, and scored first in a national competition for computer networking technologies then too. (horn tooting fades away)

I try to do everything I can to keep everything going in this house, but sometimes it doesn't end up well x_x. Hopefully some of those times get documented for your reading enjoyment, and don't get left in a corner of my brain because I'm horrible at blogging xP.
